Filming.
Here are some shots of our film setup with our camera and our boom in Charlie's house where we filmed the scenes for 'Simons house' it shows Sam who was the camera man shooting a mix of fixed shots and free hand shots which we used to gain an almost gorilla style to add to our verisimiltude and the conventions of a documentary. our shot in which sam follows Fraser up the stairs after a commotion is heard between Sharon and Simon is a good example of this natural feel to the mockumentary as although this scene was throughly planned we still managed to acheive a real life feel.
Scripts and Props.

Above are a few examples of our scripts that we wrote for our film although we are scripting our film we are only aiming to use them aSs a loose guide aw we are aiming to acheive a natural feel to the dialoughe as if it was real responses from real people in a real documentary.

Above is a prop which Charlie came yp for the idea for he invisiged this to be used in one of our scenes where Simon uses it to type with his forehead not only do we hope this will make people laugh without being over the top it fits with our other prop the oven gloves.
Review Research.

As a group we have changed our idea from a radio advert to a magazine review as we feel a radio advert may not do our film justice as it may be hard to fit it to the same genre as the mockumentary. We have looked through magazines such as empire and their websites to look at layouts of reviews and the style of how they are written. Big pictures of the film are important as well as captions which we have found that sometimes have nothing to do with the film and can instead be humorous and take a bizzare view of what the audience can see in the picture.

Research and Planning into different mockumenatries and presenters.
How did your research into genre contribute to your production work?
We have researched and talked about things like Borat and This Is Spinal Tap which both relate to our genre as they are mockumentarys and follow the convention, camera shots and themes that we are aiming to use in our film. Whilst there conventions are the same as a serious documentary with interviews and a mix of shots they always tend to use a theme or a character that is ridiculous to acheive the humour.
One presenter we have looked at who is known for doing documentaries and who we feel we can relate Fraser to is Louis Theoux in his dress sense and also his almost awkward style of presenting in which he never wants to risk stepping on the toes of the people he is following and offending them.
